“ The best location in Paris for a Sunday morning breakfast stop. Utterly divine croissants, the coffee was the best I have had worldwide, and the music is bang on (The likes of highway to hell AC/DC). If you're lucky there will also be a classic car gathering to gawk at as you sip away at your cappuccino. I'd make a trip to Paris specifically for this place. ”

For reasons above I say yes. The menu is simple, the food unfussy (not ‘gourmet’ cuisine), but well prepared and tasty, and very reasonably priced. Wine list was equally reasonable, and selected by the owner (“from the cellars of the ‘patron’), so you get the feeling that although it’s a simple place, there is care yo what’s going on. Service was friendly and prompt, professional, with no fuss/muss. I noticed our waiter peeking at our table to make sure we didn’t need anything, without inserting himself needlessly. Pro move. Highly recommended, unless you’re seeking a major culinary experience (which will add a digit to your bill). But if you want a good meal, a bottle or two of tasty wine and to enjoy a Parisian street scene, def come here. ”
